Letterkenny University Hospital ranks 2nd worst with trolley numbers in Ireland



Letterkenny University Hospital has been ranked the 2nd worst effected hospital in the region today when it comes to the INMO trolley watch figures.

The Donegal Hospital has 51 patients waiting for a bed. 17 people are waiting for a bed in Emergency Department and 34 on other wards elsewhere throughout the hospital.

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation have reported that Sligo university hospital has 26 patients without a bed today with 17 in the emergency department and 9 on trolleys throughout the hospital.

559 people are waiting for a bed in hospitals across the country today with Limerick University is the highest in the country today with 60 patients waiting for a bed.
