Sligo senior men’s rugby team produced a morale-boosting display in Division 2B of the All-Ireland league on Saturday afternoon to beat league Greystones on their own patch by a point, 20-19.
Sligo led by 20 points to 12 as the game entered the closing stages, but a converted try for Greystones set up an exciting finish. But Paddy Pearson’s side held on to win by one.
