There was disappointment for St Nathy’s of Sligo in Sunday’s women’s All-Ireland intermediate football semi-final in Belfast as they lose an closely-fought contest to the Antrim and Ulster champions St Paul’s by a single point, on a final scoreline of 1-7 to 1-6.

The sides were level at half-time but Kathleen Coleman’s early second-half goal gave Nathy’s real impetus.
However, St Paul’s always stayed in the hunt and they finished marginally the stronger with a string of points securing them a one-point win.
