St Mary’s minor football team are into the Connacht minor ‘B’ club final after beating Galway’s Oughterard by 2-14 to 1-11 in the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence in Bekan on Tuesday night.
They will face Strokestown in the final on Friday November 1st.
The Roscommon side beat Leitrim’s Melvin Gaels by a scoreline of 3-15 to 0-7 in Tuesday nights other semi-final.
Leitrim’s St Mary’s Kiltogher were also in action in the Connacht minor ‘A’ semi-final on Tuesday night, losing out 2-14 to 1-9 to St Brigid’s of Roscommon.
Sligo minor champions St Farnan’s/St Pat’s lost out in the other minor ‘A’ semi final. They were beaten by 3-15 to 0-5 by Salthill-Knocknacarra.
Salthill and St Brigid’s will also meet on Friday November 1st in Connacht minor club ‘A’ final.
