Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information in relation to a car being set on fire outside of a Leitrim TD’s home this week.
Gardai are in the early stages of an investigation and have yet not determined any motive for the crime at this time.
Emergency services attended the scene of a car fire outside of Sinn Fein Deputy Martin Kenny’s home in Aughavas in the early hours of Monday morning.
Carrick-on-Shannon based Supt. Kevin English asks that anyone in the area between midnight and 3am and may have seen anything suspicious, to contact their local Garda station.
Gardaí are particularly interested in hearing from people who may have dashcam footage from the time.
