Gweedore & Naomh Conaill finish level again



The 2019 Donegal senior football championship final will go to a second replay after holders Gweedore and Naomh Conaill played out another draw after extra-time on Sunday, on a final scoreline of Gweedore 0-14 Naomh Conaill 1-11.

The second replay will take place this Wednesday night, Oct 30th, under the lights of MacCumhaill Park in Ballybofey. Throw-in is at 8pm. Extra-time and penalties will decide the issue if necessary.

The eventual winners are scheduled to play Castlerahan of Cavan in next Sunday’s Ulster senior club quarter-final at Kinspan Breffni (2:30pm).

Elsewhere, Killybegs under 21 footballers are through the Donegal ‘A’ championship semi-finals after a 0-10 to 1-6 win against MacCumhaill’s.

There was disappointment for Termon ladies in the Ulster SFC club final in Killyclogher as they were beaten by Donaghmoyne of Monaghan by 1-11 to 1-9.
