Deirde Gowen, née O’Kelly, St. Teresa’s Terrace, Pound Street, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon. Peacefully, in her 91st year at Roscommon County Hospital. Private cremation has taken place. Memorial Mass will take place in St. Nathy’s Cathedral, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon on Saturday November 2nd at 1pm.

 

 

Joe (Joseph) Shannon, Jamestown, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim and formerly of Mahanagh, Cloonloo, Co. Sligo. Suddenly. Removal on this morning to St. Mary’s Church, Carrick on Shannon, arriving for Mass of Christian Burial at 12pm. Funeral afterwards to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carrick on Shannon. Family flowers only please, house private outside of reposing times.

 

Mamie Kennedy, Meenaneary, Carrick, Co. Donegal. Peacefully at Harbour Lights Nursing Home. Removal this morning to St Patrick’s Church, Meenaneary, Carrick, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Columba’s Church, Cemetery, Carrick. House private.

Jimmy (James) Hughes, Drumiskabole, Ballisodare, Co. Sligo and late of Culnagor, Dungannon, Co. Tyrone. Peacefully at his home. Remains reposing at his home (Eircode: F91YE20) on Thursday afternoon from 3pm until 7.30pm. Removal on Friday morning to Saint John’s Church, Carraroe, Co. Sligo arriving for 11am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Scarden Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Irish Cancer Society C/o Gerard Clarke & Sons Funeral Directors, Ballisodare, Co. Sligo. House Private to family on Friday morning please.
