Frances Conway, (nee Butler) Main St. Grange, Co. Sligo. Peacefully at the Nazareth Nursing Home, Sligo. Requiem Mass at 11am at the  Mary Immaculate church in Grange this morning with burial afterwards in Ahamlish cemetery.

 

 

John Joe Gallagher, Castlereagh, Bruckless. Peacefully, at Sligo University Hospital. Funeral mass on this morning at 11am in the Church of Saint Joseph and Saint Conal, Bruckless with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. A one way system will be in operation.

 

 

Lena Carty, White Island Road, Fassagh, Belleek and formerly of Drumbadreevagh, Belleek. Funeral Mass on this morning in St. Patricks Church, Belleek at 11am, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired, to Marie Curie c/o any family or Peter Carty Funeral Director, Garrison. As a mark of respect the premises of Carty Hardware Belleek will be closed for business until Friday. A one way system is in operation for the wake. Entrance to the White Island at Corry School; exit via Fassagh Road to Farrancassidy Cross.

 

 

John McGagh, (retired Garda sergeant), Church Road, Bundoran, Co. Donegal. Peacefully, at Sligo University Hospital. Reposing at his late residence this evening  from 5pm to 9pm and on Friday from 12 noon to 5pm. Removal on Friday evening at 6.45pm to Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Bundoran arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 noon with interment afterwards in St. Ninnidh’s Cemetery, Bundoran. Family flowers only, donations to the Alzheimer’s society of Ireland c/o John Mulreany funeral services or any family member.

Sister Josephine Breen, San Diego, California, and formerly Sisters of Mercy, Sligo, and Carnmadda, Lecarrow, Co. Roscommon. Sister Josephine’s cremated remains will repose at Our Lady of Mercy, 3 St. Patrick’s Avenue, Sligo, on Friday from 3pm to 5.30pm. Removal on Saturday to St. Anne’s Church, Sligo, for Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Burial to follow in Sligo Cemetery.

 

 

Josie Reynolds, (nee Cawley), of Ballinahowna, Dromore West, Co. Sligo. Peacefully, in her 95th year at the North West Hospice, Sligo. Reposing at her residence this afternoon from 1pm, with removal at 7.30pm to the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Dromore West, arriving at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Friday at 12noon with funeral proceeding to Churchill Cemetery, Dromore West. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to The North West Hospice, C/o Mc Gowan’s funeral home, Ballina.

 

 

Kathleen Fitzpatrick (nee Rooney), 6A Circular Road, Sligo, and formerly of Brookeborough, Co. Fermanagh. Peacefully at her residence. Reposing at the Foley and McGowan’s Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo on this evening from 5:30pm to 7:00pm, with funeral arriving to St. Anne’s Church, Sligo for 7:30pm. Requiem mass will take place on Friday morning at 11:00am in St. Anne’s Church, Sligo with funeral proceeding to Sligo Cemetery afterwards. House private, please. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to The North West Hospice, care of The Foley & Mc Gowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo.

 

 

Deirde Gowen, (née O’Kelly) St. Teresa’s Terrace, Pound Street, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon. Peacefully, in her 91st year at Roscommon County Hospital. Private cremation has taken place. Memorial Mass will take place in St. Nathy’s Cathedral, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon on Saturday November 2nd, 2019 at 1pm.
