Sligo Rovers were beaten 2-0 by Waterford in Tuesday night’s re-arranged SSE Airtricity League Premier Division game at the RSC.
Goals from Waterford’s JJ Lunney in the first half, and Walter Figuera in the second, gave the home side all three points.
Rovers, who were again without Ronan Coughlan, Romeo Parkes and Ronan Murray for this game, gave first competitive starts of the season to goalkeeper Luke McNicholas and Brian Morley up front.
