Govt urged to pursue justice in case of Pettigo man shot dead by RUC



The Government has been urged to pursue the case of Pettigo man, Michael Leonard, who was shot dead by the RUC in 1973. The North’s Attorney General has ruled that the shooting of the 24 year-old was not justified, raising the possibility of a new inquest. The matter has been raised in the Seanad by Senator Brian O’Domhnaill
