The EJ Sligo All-Stars secured their first points of the new men’s Division 1 league season in Limerick with an impressive 69-54 win against UL Sports Eagles on Sunday afternoon.
The All-Stars trailed by four points at half-time but produced a strong finish to win comfortable with Oisín O’Reilly top-scoring for Sligo with 17 points.
The team had lost their opening league game the previous weekend to Fr Matthew’s in Cork, but Sunday’s performance was a marked improvement.
