Muriel Berry, formerly of Greenan, Lough Eske, Donegal Town. Peacefully at the Harbour Lights Nursing Home, Killybegs. Funeral Service in Christ Church, Lough Eske at 2pm on Saturday, followed by burial in the Glebe Cemetery, Donegal Town. Family flowers only.  Home strictly private please.

 

 

Edward O’Gara, formerly of Meenawaughran, Glencolmcille. Peacefully at home in Donegal Town. Remains reposing at Gallagher’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles. Removal, at 5.45pm on  to arrive at St. Columba’s Church, Carrick at 6.45pm. Funeral mass at 11am on Saturday. Interment afterwards in the adjacent cemetery. Family flowers only.

 

Paddy McGowan, Cloonagh, Ballinfull, Co Sligo (peacefully) at St John’s Hospital Sligo. Reposing at St John’s Hospital Chapel from 4.30 pm to 7pm. Removal at 7pm to St Patrick’s church Maugherow arriving at 7.30 pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11 am with burial afterwards in Carrigans cemetery. Family Flowers Only please.  Donations in lieu to St John’s Hospital patient comfort fund.

 

Edward (Ned) Burns Ardagelly, Templeboy, Co Sligo. Peacefully at the North West hospice. Reposing at his residence from 2 p.m. today with removal on Saturday evening at 5.45 p.m. to arrive at St Adamnans Church Skreen at 6.15 p.m. Funeral mass on Sunday at 11.30 am. with burial afterwards in St Mary’s cemetery Skreen. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to North West Hospice  C/O Sweeney’s funeral home, Dromore West.

Shuttle bus will operate today from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Templeboy church to his late residence.

 

George Flynn, Clooneen, Manorhamilton, Co Leitrim suddenly at his home. Reposing at Our Lady’s Hospital Chapel, Manorhamilton this evening from 5pm to 6pm. Removal to St Clare’s Church, Manorhamilton to arrive at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11.30am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

 

Padraig O’ Grady, late of Raneany East, Laghey and formerly of Ballinacarrow, Co. Sligo. Padraig’s remains will repose at the family home at Raneany East, Laghey. Funeral from the family home on Saturday at 2.20 p.m. for Requiem Mass at 3 p.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, Donegal Town. Interment afterwards in St. Agatha’s Churchyard, Clar. Family flowers only please. Family time please from 11 p.m. to 11 a.m. and on the day of the funeral.

 

Edward (Eddie) Fitzpatrick, Killyglasson, Blacklion & formerly Esvaugh, Glan-gevlin, Co. Cavan. Peacefully at North West Hospice, Sligo. Funeral arrangements later.

 

 

Michael Rooney (Coolboy, Tinahely, Co. Wicklow ), suddenly at home. Sadly missed by his loving sisters Mary Clerkin, Drumkee, Kathleen Mullvaney, Sligo, brothers Eugene and Tommy, Aughamore Near, Reposing at his home in Coolboy from 1.00 pm Saturday with removal Sunday morning at 11.30 am to St. Mary’s Church, Coolafancy arriving for 12.00 noon Funeral Mass followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Memorial mass for the late Michelle Beck, Nee Walsh. Sydney, Australia and formerly of Carrowkeel, Ballisodare, Co. Sligo. Daughter of Pat and Bridie Walsh and sister of Clare and Karen. Will be celebrated in St. Johns Church, Carraroe on Saturday at 12 noon.
