The chances of a Brexit deal have appeared to have dipped after leaked reports of the UK’s proposals for managing the border with Northern Ireland.
It was revealed last night that the UK’s non-papers submitted to the EU planned to manage the border with customs checks.
The British Prime Minister has rejected claims that there are proposals to set up ‘customs clearance zones’ 7km away from the border as part of its plans to replace the backstop.
