Calls have been made once again on the Government to reverse the decision to the Rehabilitative Training Allowance for new entrants
Sligo Leitrim Fianna Fail TD Eamon Scanlon first raised the matter back in July, questioned the Taoiseach in the Dáil and claims that targeting some of the most vulnerable people in our communities as a cost cutting measure is mean spirited.
The Sligo based TD called on the Taoiseach in the Dail to listen to the pleas made by young people with disabilities.
In Response to Deputy Scanlon The Taoiseach says the savings are being diverted to providing services that are in receipt of the grant.
