A young French student was asked to pay a second bus fare, after getting on the Sligo to Galway bus at Ballinacarrow. The student had booked his ticket online from Collooney to Galway, but because he got on at a different stop, he was forced to pay on the double. Bus Eireann say will be refunded the fare, and have defended their policy on such matters
