Several roads in North Leitrim will soon become impassable if land owners to not start to maintain and cut road side hedges and trees.
That’s according to the Leitrim independent Councillor Felim Gurn who raised the matter at this week’s Manorhamilton Municipal District meeting.
All Councillors in attendance backed the motion for the Council to address the issue with landowners that are failing to comply with the regulations.
Speaking to Ocean FM news after this week’s meeting Cllr Gurn says over grown roadside hedges is having a real impact for all vehicles that are using rural roads.
