One of Donegal’s most exciting young gaelic footballers, Oisín Gallen, is flying to Australia next week to take part in an AFL trial.
He and Meath footballer Cian McBride will spend two weeks down under taking part in a combine session, which is a series of fitness tests for prospective new AFL players.
Gallen has been in great form for club and county this year, and scored 2-8 from play in McCumhaill’s recent club championshp win against Dugloe. He’s due to play for the Ballybofey club this Saturday against Naomh Conaill in a decisive Group B match in the senior club championship.
