Experts from The Dermatology Department at Sligo University Hospital are to offer skin care information at the Ploughing Championships that got under way this morning.

The HSE is to set up a Health and Wellbeing Marquee today to provide skin cancer information to farmers in particular about the dangers of working in direct sunlight.

1 in 4 skin cancer deaths in Ireland come from those working in construction or the farming industry which results to over a1,000 deaths a year.
