Dromahair residents express concern over monster wind farm development

The impact of new giant wind turbines on the Corry Mountain will have major impacts on the tourism industry in the north west and any health concerns that currently surround the project should be alleviated prior to their construction.

That’s according to Manorhamilton MD Councillor Sean McDermott.

Cllr Mc Dermott was just one of a number of public representatives that attended a special meeting in Dromahair last night which was staged to inform local residents about the impact of new giant turbines that Coillte are proposing to erect on Cory Mountain.

Speaking earlier to the Ocean FM news room, Cllr McDermott explained how a number of issues were highlighted by concerned residents at last night’s meeting.
