There were mixed fortunes for Ballymote handball club members Francis McCann and Laura Finn at the All-Ireland finals in Virginia, county Cavan.
Francis, who already has 18 all Ireland titles to his name, lost out to Westmeath’s Robbie McCarthy in the Emerald Masters Final.
Laura Finn beat Kilkenny’s Deirdre Purcell in the All-Ireland junior ladies final.
