Empty shelves Brexit warning is scaremongering, says supermarket owner



The owner of two supermarkets in the North West has dismissed claims that supermarket shelves could be empty within two days of a hard Brexit as scaremongering. Des Cosgrove of Centra in Magheraboy, Sligo, and Supervalu, Bundoran, insists the industry has taken steps to prepare for a No Deal scenario, and the comments from the Freight Transport Association of Ireland are inaccurate
