Hugh Keany (Owney), Earls Court, London, and formerly of Cloonaghmore, Glenfarne, Co Leitrim. Funeral service will take place in London at Our Lady of Victories Church, Kensington High Street, W8 6SA on Thursday 29th August at 11am. Burial afterwards at St Mary’s Cemetery, Kensal Green. Family flowers or a donation, if desired, to Alzheimer’s Research.

 

Joseph (Joe) Greene (retired AI technician), Moss Cottage, Carndonagh, Co Donegal, and formerly Cartronmore, Drumcliff, Co Sligo. Peacefully at Carndonagh Community Hospital. Reposing at the home of his brother, Leslie Greene Cartronmore, Drumcliff, Co Sligo today from 3pm to 9pm. Removal on Wednesday to St Columba’s Church, Drumcliff, to arrive for Funeral Service at 2pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family time on Wednesday morning please. Family flowers only. Donations, if so desired, to the hospice ward at Carndonagh Community Hospital, c/o any family member or John Burke, funeral director.

 

John Joe Mulvaney, Knockbrack, Keash, Ballymote Co Sligo. Peacefully at his residence.  Remains reposing at Perry’s Funeral Home, Ballymote, this evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Funeral mass at 12 noon in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Culfadda, on Wednesday.  Burial afterwards in Knockbrack cemetery.

 

James (Jim) Maheady, 6 Shannon Drive, Gurteen, Co. Sligo.  Reposing at his son Declan’s residence, Carrentemple, Gurteen, Co. Sligo (F56 PD30). House open to the public this evening from 5pm until 8pm.  Removal on Wednesday to St. Patrick’s Church, Gurteen, for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Gurteen Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to North West Hospice, C/O O’Dowd Funeral Directors, Gurteen.

 

Jacqueline Gavigan, Dorset, England.  Loving Wife of Seán Gavigan.  Remains arriving today Tuesday to the Church of St. Joseph and St. Conal, Bruckless for 7 pm to repose overnight. Funeral mass on Wednesday at 11 am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please.
