The Government’s failure to invest in Ireland’s transport infrastructure is a serious oversight and is depriving commuters of basic rights with cracks already showing in the public transport network.
That’s according to Fianna Fáil Spokesperson on transport, Sligo Leitrim TD Marc MacSharry.
The Sligo based TD has slammed the failure of Minister of Transport Shane Ross to secure adequate funding under the Connecting Europe fund which has 24.5 billion euro available under a co-funding initiative.
