Fresh concerns raised over Donegal medical facilities

The Massive overspend with the HSE and the current government allocations for nursing homes and community hospitals could have potentially disastrous consequences for such facilities in the County of Donegal.

That’s according to Donegal TD and Leas-Cheann Comhairle of Dáil Éireann Pat the Cope Gallagher who has questioned if the current plan for upgrading nursing homes, care units and community hospitals are safeguarded.

The Donegal TD claims that the government’s capital plan is in tatters and that clarity should now should be provided on the future of projects such as St Joseph’s Hospital, Lifford and Ramleton Community Hospital.
