The Sligo All-Stars have announced two new American recruits for the new basketball season, which starts next month.
Carson Long and Brandon Perry (pictured will arrive in Sligo at the end of this month to take up two new victory scholarships for the season ahead with the All-Stars and IT Sligo.
Carson is a six-foot four wing player from Guilford College in North Carolina. Brandon is a six-foot point guard from Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania.
The 21019/2020 men’s division 1 has been restructured this season into two groups or conferences: Division 1 Blue and Division 1 White.
The All-Stars have been drawn in Division 1 Blue along with Neptune of Cork, Letterkenny IT, Ulster University Elks, Portlaoise, Team Kubs of Dublin and the Ulster of Limerick Eagles.
