Marie McGowan from Manorhamilton cares for her 93 year old father, who has Parkinson’s Disease. She claims that she, and many like her, are saving the State billions of euro in carrying out such work, by not putting their loved ones in hospitals or nursing homes, yet the supports and home help hours provided are negligible.
