Sligo minors beat Roscommon to reach Connacht semi-final



Sligo minor gaelic footballers confirmed their place in the Connacht semi-final after an eventful 2-15 to 4-7 win against Roscommon at Markievicz Park.

The result means Roscommon are elimated from this year’s minor championship.

Galway beat Leitrim by 5-25 to 1-4 in Tuam to finish top of the round robin series – and they qualify directly for the Connacht minor final.

Mayo will be Sligo’s semi-final opponents next Wednesday evening.
