Sligo Rovers share spoils with Cork City



Sligo Rovers drew 1-1 with Cork City on Friday night at the Showgrounds in their final Premier Division game before the SSE Airtricity League takes its mid-season break.

Graham Cummins gave Cork the lead in the opening half but the impressive Ronan Coughlan brought Rovers level before the interval.

Rovers looked the better team for decent portions of the game but they were unable to find a winner.

Liam Buckley’s team remain sixth in the table on 26 points, one place ahead of Cork City.
