Early tallies from the Donegal electoral area indicate SF’s Mick McMahon from Bundoran is performing well with 543 votes.
He is followed by FG’s Barry Sweeney from Ballyshannon on 523 votes and FF’s Michael Naughton from Laghey on 493 votes.
Ind candidate Billy Grimes from Ballyshannon is also performing well so far on 367 votes and he is followed by FF’s Philip McGlynn from Magheracar on 295 votes.
