Sinn Fein TD Pearse Doherty says he is confident at this stage Noel Jordan will secure a seat in the Donegal Municipal District.
He says it’s too soon to call if Bundoran candidate Mick McMahon will gain the second seat for the party in the area.
Deputy Doherty say he thinks the votes overall has gone up for the party in the south Donegal area.
