A man has been arrested by Gardaí investigating an outbreak of gorse fire in Co. Donegal on Good Friday.
He was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act yesterday at Milford Garda Station and has since been released without charge.
A file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The investigation was launched following an outbreak of gorse fire in west Donegal between the hours of 1pm and 10.30pm on Friday April 19th.
Considerable damage was caused to a house in the Drumnacart and Annagry areas, as well as a tractor and various other items on the properties.
No one was injuried in the fires and investigations are ongoing.
