Traveller representative groups have reacted with anger to the ‘clean-up’ operation which took place at Connaughton Road car park by Sligo County Council with the assistance of the Gardai. The traveller families living there claim they are victims of harrassment and bullying, while one local businessman has taken issue with being branded a fascist for his views on the matter
