Sligo Rovers earn point in Cork, Finn Harps lost to Pat’s

Sligo Rovers drew 0-0 with Cork City at Turner’s Cross on Easter Monday.

Chances in were at a premium in this game but Rovers battled hard to earn a share of the spoils.

Rovers keeper Mitchell Beeney made a superb save in the closing quarter to keep the home side at bay.

In Ballybofey, Finn Harps miserable run continued as they lost 2-0 to St Patrick’s Athletic. Former Rovers player Mikey Drennan was, again, on the scoresheet scoring a second-half penalty for Pat’s.

Rovers and Harps meet in the Premier Division this Friday night (April 26th) at the Showgrounds.
