Kilcar and Donegal’s Paddy McBrearty marked his return from a long injury lay-off last Sunday by scoring four points for his club Kilcar in their 2-13 to 2-8 win against Glenswilly in the sides opening match of the new senior football league division 1 campaign, played at Towney.
It was McBrearty’s first game since injuring his cruciate ligament during the Ulster final last June.
