Anthony Walklate, known as Tony. Late of Samier Drive, Ballyshannon, Co.Donegal, and formerly of Stoke-on-Trent, England. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital.  Reposing at the residence of Pat Melly, Westport, Ballyshannon, Co Donegal, on Wednesday from 5pm until 9pm. Removal on Thursday from Pat Melly’s residence at 9.30am to arrive at St Joseph’s Church, the Rock, Ballyshannon, for funeral service at 10 am, with interment in adjoining cemetery.  Family flowers only, donations in lieu of so desired to the Shiel Hospital Patients’ Comfort Fund, C/o Patrick McKenna Funeral Directors, Ballyshannon.

Ray Kelly, Oakfield Road, Sligo and late of Murneen, Kiltimagh, Co Mayo. Peacefully at North West Hospice, The Mall, Sligo. Reposing at the family home at Oakfield Road, Sligo from 5.00pm to 8.00pm this evening. Home private at all other times please. Mass of the Resurrection at 11.30am on Wednesday in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo. Burial follows in Sligo Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to North West Hospice Fund, c/o Seán Feehily’s Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo.

Neil Doherty (known as Dutch), 4 Mountain View, West End, Bundoran Co Donegal, and formerly of Strabane, Co. Tyrone. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Reposing at his late residence today until 10pm. House strictly private at all other times please. Removal on Wednesday morning to arrive at the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Bundoran for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Ninnidh’s Cemetery, Newtown, Bundoran.  Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired to Crumlin Children’s Hospital, Dublin, C/o donation box at family home and church, or to Conlan and Breslin Funeral Directors on 086 249 2036.

 

Ann McGovern (nee Gavigan), Rathbaun, Dromahair, Co Leitrim. Reposing at Fowley’s Funeral Home, Dromahair this evening from 5.30pm to 8:30pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to St Mary’s Church, Killenummery for funeral mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in Carrowcrin Cemetery. House private on the morning of the funeral.

 

The Very Reverend Fr Pat McHugh, former Parish Priest of Rooskey, Co Roscommon. Peacefully in Mowlam Nursing Home, Sligo. Predeceased by his sisters Maureen and Oonagh. Reposing at Nazareth House Chapel, Church Hill, Sligo on Wednesday from 5pm until 7pm, followed by removal to the Cathedral of The Immaculate Conception, Sligo, to arrive at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday at 12.30pm, followed by burial afterwards at Rooskey churchyard, Co Roscommon.

 

Catherine Granaghan, (known as Cassie), Ballinacarrick, Ballyshannon, Co Donegal. At the North West Hospice, the Mall, Sligo.  Reposing today at her daughter’s Marie and son in law Paul’s residence in Ballinacarrick from 5 pm until 10 pm and on Wed from 12 noon until 10 pm.  Removal on Thursday at 11.15 to arrive at St Joseph’s Church, the Rock, Ballshannon, for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon., with interment in the Abbey Assaroe Cemetery, Ballyshannon.  Family flowers only, donations in lieu if so desired to the North West Hospice, the Mall, Sligo, C/o Patrick Mc Kenna Funeral Directors or any family members.  House private to family on the morning of the funeral please.

 

Eileen Mogan, 4 Oranvale, Bog Road, Oranmore, Co. Galway. Mother of Nancy Conaghan, Evelyn Sheerin and Rita Wilson, Mountcharles. Reposing at the funeral home adjoining the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oranmore on Wednesday from 5.30pm until 8pm. Funeral mass in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oranmore on Thursday at 11am, with burial afterwards in the village cemetery.

Helena Murphy (nee Tuffy), Carrowcollar, Kilglass, and late of Fiddane, Enniscrone, Co. Sligo   Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina on Wednesday evening from 5.pm until 8.pm. Funeral will arrive to the Church Of the Holy Family, Kilglass on Thursday for Mass of the Resurrection at 12:noon with burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Kilglass. Family flowers only.
