A West Sligo councillor says he is ‘extremely disappointed’ with funding announced today for piers in his area and for Mullaghmore, in North Sligo.
Independent Councillor Michael Clarke says the allocation leaves Polladiva Pier in Templeboy €35,000 short of the contract price for work that’s to be done there.
Clr Clarke says more money was allocated last year.
