The Irish Cancer Society is urging people to donate to Daffodil Day online or by text due to today’s bad weather.
The society is aiming to raise 4 million euro today, but volunteers throughout the country say street sales have been affected by the rain.
Bad weather in 2013 led to a disappointing take for the charity’s largest annual fundraiser.
