There were celebrations for the Grange Post Primary School boys under 19 soccer team on Tuesday when they beat St Joseph’s Community College, Charlestown, 1-0 in the final of the FAI Schools Connacht senior ‘C’ cup final, played at the Sligo Regional Sports Centre’s 3G pitch in Cleveragh.
Grange had reached the final thanks to a 11-1 win against Rossport in the semi-finals.
Tuesday’s game was a much closer affair but the north Sligo lads scored the only goal of the game to claim the provincial title.
