The Tanaiste and Foreign Affairs Minister will be in Sligo this evening to speak on Brexit.
Simon Coveney is expected to outline the latest developments on Britain’s exit from the EU during an event in the Aurivo Auditorium at IT Sligo.
The discussion will involve an expert panel with representatives from the freight transport sector, agriculture and business.
The event, beginning at 8pm, is being organised by Sligo Fine Gael Councillor and general election candidate Sinead Maguire.
She says she believes the north west and its agriculture and food sectors will be among the worst hit by Brexit.
