IT Sligo mourns the deaths of two of its students

IT Sligo is reeling from two tragedies this week.

The college says it is working with the HSE after one of its students tragically died from meningitis.

They say “all appropriate health measures” are being taken after 21-year old footballer Adam Mulchrone sadly passed away last weekend after falling ill.

Mr Mulchrone’s death was followed just hours later with word that another student – 24-year-oldJ ohn Harley, was among four young men killed in a single-vehicle crash in Donegal.

IT President Brendan McCormack says the IT has been shocked and deeply saddened by the deaths of its students.
