Sitting Sligo Fine Gael councillor Sinead Maguire says she is looking forward to working to ensure her party obtains two council seats in the Sligo/Strandhill area.
It follows her selection with newcomer Blaine Gaffney at a party selection convention last night to run in next May’s local elections.
Fine Gael has already nominated Cllr Maguire to run as a Dail candidate in the next general election.
