There are calls for a bus route to be established for people travelling from Ballygawley and Ballintogher to Sligo town.
A local Sinn Fein councillor says there is a growing discrepancy in County Sligo as some areas can avail of regular bus services while other areas are left without any transport links into the town.
Cllr Thomas Healy says the service would reduce rural and social isolation.
