A young Sligo man is recovering in hospital after falling from a cliff in Portugal.
The incident happened last Thursday at Ingrina Beach near the town of Vila do Bispo in the Algarve.
It’s believed the man fell while climbing the side of the cliff, local authorities were alerted at around 5.20pm local time.
He was attended to at the scene by firefighters before being airlifted to hospital.
