Gardaí in Letterkenny are looking for any information in relation to two serious assaults before Christmas.
They occurred around the Castle Street or Church Lane areas of Letterkenny between 3.30am and 5am on Saturday the 22nd of December.
A man in his 20’s and another in his 30’s were seriously injured in the assaults with one suffering stab wounds ; Gardaí believe both crimes are linked and may have been carried out by the same attackers.
Gardaí are now asking anyone who may have been in the areas around the time or anyone who may have noticed suspicious activity to contact them at Letterkenny Garda Station.
