Mandate enter 4th day of industrial action at Sligo and Carrick on Shannon Tesco Stores

Mandate Trade Union members are into their 4th day of industrial action today at the Tesco store in Sligo.

The store in Carrick on Shannon also joins the strike today which began in both places this morning when they opened and plan to stay until close.

Mandate say their are a number of issues such as pay and lack of breakroom and canteen facilities while Tesco say it is unwarranted and that both stores will remain open during the industrial action.

Speaking to OceanFM news, Mandate Trade Union Divisional Organiser for the North and West, Ciaran Campbell, says people are showing them a lot of support.
