Jackie’s Hall Documentary – Part 1, 2 & 3

This is a story about a place that exists no longer but in memory and handed-down reminiscences. It’s a story of a place where people met and danced, where, maybe, they saw films and puppet shows, perhaps even played darts.

It’s about a local hall and the man who ran it, John Conlon, better known as ‘Jackie.’

And it’s about the life and times around the crossroads where that hall once stood, Conway’s Cross, between Gleann and Geevagh in east County Sligo, on the R284 road that leads from Sligo into County Roscommon and onto Leitrim.

Welcome to ‘Jackie’s Hall’ presented by Harry Keaney.
