New bishop of Clogher to be ordained in February

A number of Catholic parishes in Donegal have a new bishop.

It follows the appointment of Monsignor Larry Duffy as the new bishop of the Diocese of Clogher.

He is currently parish priest of Carrickmacross and administrator of the Parish of Magheracloone.

Monsignor Duffy will be ordained as the new bishop on Sunday, February 10th, in St Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan.

Parishes in Donegal in Clogher Diocese include Maghe Ene Bundoran and Pettigo, as well as nearby Belleek-Garrison in Fermanagh.
