Sligo Rovers have signed Johnny Dunleavy from Cork City for the 2019 season on a one-year deal.
The 27-year-old’s signing was confirmed by the club on Friday morning.
Dunleavy, from Ballybofey, comes to the Showgrounds after a successful seven-year spell with Cork, where he was team captain during the latter part of his time there.
With City, Dunleavy won the SSE Airtricity Premier Divsion title in 2017 as well as two FAI Cups. His versatility means he can feature across the defence, as well as in midfield.
