Ireland offline movement angry with continued broadband delays.

The Ireland offline movement have today hit out at the delay in rolling out high speed broadband to many homes and businesses in rural Ireland.

They claim that 542,000 premises still have to be connected.

Spokesperson for “Ireland offline” Eamonn Wallace claims that the findings of the Smith Report which was set up to investigate the dealings between the former Communications minister, Denis Naughten and a potential provider of the service  were inconclusive.
