The chairman of Aurivo co-operative has warned that there will be a very different agricultural sector after Brexit.
Pat Duffy has also described the uncertainly that is currently in existence as unhelpful and harmful for farmers.
Aurivo is one of the many companies that works with farmers on both sides of the border and ship a sizeable amount of milk from the six counties on an annual basis.
While Leitrim native Duffy fully accepts that there will be challenges for the farming sector with Brexit, he has urged farmers to embrace the challenge and seek new opportunities that will arise.
